About Clayton
Clayton has been analyzing casinos for over twenty years. Differential Labs was born out of that experience, supporting both brick-and-mortar and online casinos as well as payment providers and technology vendors adopt and achieve their analytics and AI ambitions. In particular, we are focused on applying AI to achieve more personalized marketing and safeguard risks.
Prior to founding Differential, Clayton held senior positions at leading casino companies in Las Vegas, Macau, and Australia, where he established and managed analytics or casino marketing departments; most recently as the Vice President of Casino Marketing with Wynn Macau. He was deeply involved in the opening of several of Macau’s most successful integrated resorts, including the Venetian Macau, City of Dreams, and Wynn Palace.
Apart from my analytics/marketing responsibilities, Clayton has extensive experience in corporate development, having managed corporate business development for Crown Resorts in Australia across diverse markets such as online gaming, Sri Lanka, Las Vegas, Vietnam, Japan, and more. Additionally, he has executed strategy or due diligence projects both in conjunction with Differential and McKinsey & Co., where he advises casino corporations or financial institutions.
He has been recognized as a thought leader in casino analytics, with articles published in both industry and academic journals. He is also a frequent speaker on the application of analytics and artificial intelligence within the casino industry. In 2013, he was also included in the American Gaming Association’s inaugural ’40 under 40′ list.
